Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Fabric Tales, we aim to provide our customers with a seamless, transparent, and reliable delivery experience. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines the procedures, timelines, charges, and conditions under which orders are processed and delivered to customers across India.
This policy is applicable to all purchases made through www.fabrictales.in, owned and operated by RR Ventures, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
1. SERVICEABLE PIN CODES
We currently ship to most cities, towns, and postal codes across India via our trusted courier partners. However, in rare cases where a pin code is non-serviceable, our team will reach out and offer an alternative solution or refund.
2. ORDER PROCESSING TIME
- Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays)
- Customized, bulk/wholesale, high-volume, or festival-period orders may take an additional 1–3 days.
- You will receive order confirmation and tracking details via SMS/email once your order is processed.
3. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME
We strive to deliver your fabric in the fastest and safest possible manner. Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:
Region - Estimated Delivery Time
- Gujarat (Local) - 2–3 working days
- Metro Cities - 3–5 working days
- Tier-2 & Tier-3 Cities - 4–6 working days
- Remote/Rural Areas - 5–8 working days
Please note: Delivery times may vary depending on location, courier service delays, natural calamities, strikes, or unforeseen disruptions.
4. SHIPPING CHARGES
Order Value (INR) - Shipping Fee
- Pre-paid orders (any order value) - Free shipping

COD Fee (if applicable) - ₹99
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the order was delivered incorrectly or was damaged in transit.
5. COURIER PARTNERS
We work with reputable logistics providers such as but not limited to:
- Delhivery
- DTDC
- Bluedart
- India Post
- Ekart / Xpressbees (as per region)
- Amazon Shipping
Our partners are selected based on delivery reach, speed, and reliability.
6. SHIPMENT TRACKING
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via SMS/Email/WhatsApp. You can also track your order directly on our website under My Orders when logged in.

7. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS & RE-DELIVERY
Our courier partners will attempt to deliver your parcel up to two (2) times at the shipping address provided.
If undelivered after multiple attempts due to unavailability or incorrect address, the shipment will be returned to us.
In such cases, we will contact you to confirm re-dispatch. Re-shipping charges may apply for reattempted delivery.
8. DELIVERY DELAYS
While we do our best to ensure on-time delivery, delays may occur due to:
- Incorrect/incomplete shipping address
- Remote or hard-to-reach delivery locations
- Weather disturbances, political unrest, or natural disasters
- Public holidays and local strikes
- Pandemic-related transport restrictions
Fabric Tales will not be liable for delays caused by third-party courier agencies or force majeure events. However, we will coordinate with the courier to resolve delays on your behalf.
9. DAMAGED OR LOST PARCELS
A. Damaged Package at Delivery: If you receive a visibly damaged parcel, please:
- Do not accept the delivery or
- Open it in the presence of the delivery agent
- Record a video or take photos and report the issue to us within 24 hours
We will raise a claim with the courier and offer a suitable resolution (replacement or refund).
B. Lost in Transit: If a package is lost in transit, we will confirm with the courier partner and, once verified, issue a full refund or resend the item at no extra charge.
10. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
As of now, Fabric Tales ships only within India. We do not support international orders or deliveries.
11. ADDRESS CHANGE REQUEST
If you want to change your shipping address, please contact us within 3 hours of placing the order. Once the order is processed or shipped, address modification may not be possible
12. UNDELIVERED ORDERS (RTO – Return to Origin)
Orders may be returned to us due to the following:
- Repeated failed delivery attempts
- Refusal to accept delivery
- Incorrect or incomplete address
In case of RTO:
- Prepaid orders: We will deduct forward and reverse shipping fees and refund the balance
- COD orders: The order will be marked as “cancelled.” You may be restricted from placing future COD orders
